Children who chase lost voices

Plot: Asuna Watase a elementary school student is forced to work hard for her house after her father died. Her mother is a nurse who works late shifts, thus Asuna takes care of her home. She spends time listening to the strange sound coming from her cats whisker receiver which her father gave gifted her. Accompanied by her pet cat Mimi who has strange red marking on her fur.
One day walking across the bridge to her clubhouse Asuna is attacked by a fearsome creature but she is rescued by a mysterious teenage boy called Shun. She later treats the wounds of Shun and they both listen her receivers strange sounds. Shun tells Asuna that he is from another country called Agartha and is looking for something. He gives Asuna a blessing in form of a kiss to her forehead. Asuna leaves hurriedly and tells shun that she will be back tomorrow. Shun who is now alone looks up to the stars and falls from the ledge to his death.
The next morning Asuna hears from her mother that a young boy was found dead in the river but refuses to believe it is shun. In School Mr morisaki a substitute teacher gives lecture on a book which grabs Asunas attention,when he mentions Agartha the land of the dead. After school Asuna visits Morisaki and asks about Agartha. He explains long ago when mankind was still young it needed the guidance of the Quetzalcoatl the keepers of the dead until humans matured and no longer needed them. The Quetzalcoatl went underground with few humans who wanted to follow them.
Asuna goes to her time spending hideout where she sees a boy who looks like shun standing on the ledge. Just then a group of heavily armed men called Archangels attack them. The boy takes Asuna to the underground entrance where they hide and proceed further into the cave when the cave entrance gets bombed. The two are faced by a Quetzalcoatl who has apparently lost its physical sense and attacks them. He refuses to kill the gatekeeper and gives his clavis, a crystal and fights back. But at that time the arch Angel interfere and kill the gatekeeper and take Asuna. They use the clavis to open the gateway to Agartha. The commander of the arch Angel group enters Agartha with asuna later followed by the boy. Once inside the commander reveals himself as Mr.Morisaki. the boy also reveals his identity as Shin ,shuns younger brother.
Morisaki tells them all he wants is to bring back his late wife from the dead. Shin leaves Morisaki and Asuna. Morisaki tells Asuna that she can go if she wants to. But she decides to accompany. They both go into the real via an underwater entrance. Once inside they both travel in to the gate of life and death which can bring back the soul of the dead along with Mimi. They travel deep into the realm facing many hazards but make it to their destination. But things don't go as they planned.
My opinion: this is an amazing anime movie made by Makoto Shinkai. Trust me it is an artistic masterpiece. The story is mesmerizing 😍. The animation style is superb. The soundtracks are pretty decent. You will love the entire movie which is like 116 minutes long. Its a must watch movie for all anime fans. The ending is just perfect !!! Please don't waste your time and just watch this movie already 🔥💥
