#Synopsis: In a World of Mythological Believe and Aspects. Where the Living wonders and Humans are believed to be the fishes as like they swim in the river according to the narrations. As its Believed Humans Souls are like pure Fishes while they die they return to the world as they come from…..A world where Begonias,,A species live Amongst all of them. Who are the guardians of human souls as they come from.A girl Named Chun who is a begonia. Goes on a trip to Human world as a red dolphin following the ritual and She in 7 days pay a good look at nature of human world. While she does so,,she Comes up to meet a Human boy who is a boatman along with his younger sister.After seeing the Red dolphin and being affectionate for it. During a storm the poachers were seeding traps to get hunt down sea creatures while so Somehow Chun in her dolphin form gets trapped into a similar thing by the poachers. As so the sister sees it following her The boy jumps into the river to save the dolphin. While he does that suddenly due get stuck in the storm instead of chun the boy dies and Chun finds out the Boy being dead she goes back to the spirit world. Just to get his soul back in alive by Arguing with the Soul keeper. As way to ask forgiveness since she blames herself for his death. The souk keeper asks for her half soul as she gives it to him he brings a dolphin containing That boys body while chuns soul gets it back to life. From then on chun starts raise that dolphin until it grows up being a large dolphin and return back to his world Where the world of chun lies under the human worlds surface. Chuns Childhood friend Qui also helps her out to keep that dolphin save as well as give it a name where Kun was the name given to the dolphin boy who is reffered in ancient myths as a fish who cant be measured. Since then Chun and kuns story begins as well as Quis moral of being with them as the three connect the stories soul in peace.
#My_Thoughts : All in All this is by far the best Animation movie which came Too close to be a Miyazaki classic or Ghibli anime category. Though it being made by Chinese animators and productions. The story is fluent as hell and not to mention its really done in progression of the story being dramatical to being classic to its own ways of telling a culture with religious believes amongst the Chinese commons and their Heavily impact on it. Chun and Kuns story follows hardship,Sacrifices and truth about the worlds as they collide the natures law gets broken..the same can be said about Qui and his part of the story as sacrifices can be seen in this movie as a main theme.
Later on we can also see and dive into the fairs and nature of the otherworld of begonias where the story continues to be where it stands.
Different characters occur with different aspects of the show. The growth of Kun is also a fact seen in the movie as its time goes on with Chun being the intertwining of souls plays vital role here.
Also not to mention the story is paced better than anything and the hints of mythology and religious background sets it better. While small details flash out brighter.
Later on we can also see and dive into the fairs and nature of the otherworld of begonias where the story continues to be where it stands.
