Some of them were simply terrible, whilst some were only average. Of the good ones, only a few had a lasting influence on the stories that came after. One of those is Ghost in the Shell.

Thought provoking shows are something that people don't get easily cope up them into the depth of the story or get lost track of story in the middle.Among all of them complex and thought provoking show GITS Stand Alone Complex perfectly balance the bar between complexity and Sci-fi story. This show is the absolute masterpiece and true work of genius.Lets see the other aspect of this show-

Story- Ghost in the shell held in not so distant future where bar between replacing cybernetic body in lieu of physical body is not a dream anymore.As uprising cybernetic and digital society many people felt into wrong hands doing illegal activity to harm the society.
Well GITS Stand Alone Complex story divided into two major Standalone Complex plot "Laughing Man" & "Individual Eleven".And both case divided into two GIG.The show start with the public safety security of Japan "SECTION 9" follows under the command of "Major Kusanagi(a full prosthetic embodiment).They are the specialist anti terrorist group that dealt with terrorism and cybernetic crime of society
The best thing that I like about GITS that the flow and direction of the story. 1st GIG's major plot is "Laughing Man" case but the main plot blend with the other activity they occurred in throughout their Laughing man investigation case. Looks like they solving other case and then suddenly they found piece of clue of the main case and solve the puzzle piece by piece.2nd GIG also follow the same strategic script writing.
Conspiracy and intrigue are the main strengths of the story where nothing is quite as it seems.You will felt intriguing mystery in each and every episode and you will hooked into certain episode to the end to see the outcome of the story.

Character Development- Another great thing to praise about GITS. Character developments are not like all the mainstream show that showing some flashback of certain character and then focus one or two epi of each character's story.You will find yourselves in the middle of episodes and suddenly like you pushed into the another piece of the puzzle to linked of certain characters.

Artworks- It is really hard to believe that 15 years old show can deliver top notch quality fluid animation. Acton sequence of this show is mindblowing. Major's badass action sequence left me in shock for a second.

Soundtrack-One of the best thing of this show. Both season filled with intense level of music and soundtrack. They put English song on various certain episode that I like the most.One thing I do like about the effects in both series is that of the bullets fired from different guns, as they do sound different to the naked ear
