#Review :
Welcome to a dystopian world, a world where you get stepped upon like little ants because youre not at the top of the food chain anymore. They're called titans, gigantic humanlike creatures who's sole food are humans. Welcome to the war for the survival of the human race.
This anime IS NOT for THOSE WITH A LIGHT HEART. You will get exposed to intense gore and blood, but at the same time feel the despair of being able to do absolutely nothing.
At the first of the anime you're introduced to the current situation of the human race- locked up in walls as a last resort against the titans, they're living their lives without ever seeing the outside world. Meet Eren Jaeger, someone who starves for freedom outside these walls. And with heart wrenching start of an anime, watch his mother get eaten right in front of him by a titan.
Watch as Eren promises to wipe out the titan race, while getting to know a lot of other different characters and factions that takes up arms against the titans.
With a dystopian world setting, this anime is EXTREMELY realistic, you wont find episodes being stretched, or fillers being included, rather, every episode has a run for its money, teaching you every detail you need to know for the next events. And characters will die for realistic reasons rather than getting a cool death or something every other anime would do. I for one am amazed by how harsh a reality this anime will present to you.
While the story sets itself to show that humanity is once again at the face of extinction, it also gives you hope, and teaches you what it means to be alive.
If youre into mysteries and strategic tactics, this anime is for you too. Because although it seems as if its about fights, the different tactics and military strategies shown at different times will amaze you. And after watching a season or two, you'll finally realize that EVERY STRATEGY WAS CONNECTED.
